A great little gadget for testing Leica lenses and other M39 lenses. You could even use adaptors to test other manual lenses. A bit like a directors viewfinder without the eyepiece. Can be tripod mounted and dismantles easily.
Some possible slight corrosion to the metal, and a chip on one edge (see photos), Image projects ok, but could be improved by regrinding the glass ground plane a bit to make it more opaque, a small job at this scale if you want to do it yourself.
